Description: This late middle aged man wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt and is in decent physical shape. He has a very tight haircut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shane grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shane. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dilettante. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: 6'0" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He very much looks the part of a Tanner. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Gunter was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To be a Laborer again; and expand his business

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a violet costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. He has hazel eyes and a violet hat with a white feather.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and a deep hatred of gnolls

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a fancy violet suit. His black hair is lengthy. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull tan iron scale mail. His red hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Blacksmith who has hired him part-time. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Anthony was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Blacksmith. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
