Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tattered old clothes. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ralf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Unemployed business.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. After coming to the age of reason, Ralf took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. Gerald enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

Description: This slender man stands about 6'3". He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. A true patriot, Guy would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
