Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This malnourished man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. His hair is long and red with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small red clips. His beard is brown, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anselm fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
