Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
