When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Manfred Pinkerton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: Manfred was born with his father's beautiful face. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
