History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Description: An older man who wears dull brown sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case, he is not a threatening figure. He has no hair. His ears are large.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and someone believes him a fraud

His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Simon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roland's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He uses divination through singing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
