History: Born in the east to a Assassin, Raymond learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
