History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sword.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears tan trousers with grey and tan striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and to reunite with his old friends
