Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Arnold hails from a village terrorized by giants. Arnold abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Dustin was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is content

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has worked as a Ruler like his father before him.
