Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ralf embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born in the west to a Weaver, Miles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Miles has worked very hard to control his curse. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a Mason first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mason.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
