History: Born to a Mayor, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 4 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Theodoric never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
