When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Adam and his spouse have recently divorced.
