Description: This man stands a little under 5'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His auburn hair is thinning but still full. His half smiles and amber eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: John hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears brown painted combat armor at almost all times. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has gray eyes and a brown hat with a pastel feather.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Fortune-teller business.
History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lance grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to be a guard again

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. His red hair is singed and shortened. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.
Personality: Gerald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His long chestnut hair reaches down to his waist. His ears are large.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Human compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: This man wears suspenders and pastel workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized jet on his left hand. His chestnut hair is braided into rings. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: The child of a Actor, who enjoyed hunting, Richard was taken on many hunting expeditions. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
