History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Through the years after Dean was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dean's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
