Aldous Bentham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his warhammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a dagger on it. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Aldous embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aldous was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Alex Kenley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is wearing a long, red, dusty cloak. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Alex took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Alex never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids
