John Barclay, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His head has been shaved. He has blue eyes and a grey hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep

Ideals: Logical. Flaws: Ugly, Insomniac, Disease. Bonds: Poor, Immigrant. Occupation: Mercenary

Cory Lincoln, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he very much looks the part of a Sculptor. His hair is short and chestnut. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his deerstalker white hat.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Cory took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up spear and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sculptor.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a knight again

Ideals: Logical. Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Job, Rich, Nature. Occupation: Sculptor

Diggory Huxley, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He wears a tattered pair of loose brown pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs, and carries swords. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Unemployed hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Kyle Nash, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: An older man who wears suspenders and red workpants. His shirt is green, and he wears a heavy red leather apron most of the time, he is not a threatening figure. His chestnut hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability.
