Description: He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has no hair. His eyes are brown and catlike.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.
History: Miles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has worked as a Shoemaker like his mother before him.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with finding treasure.
History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He's in love; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends
History: Arnold hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: He tends to wear a large yellow jacket. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His blonde hair and beard is wavy and long. His gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
