History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Anselm was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Soapmaker. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: Gifted from a young age, Robert studied abroad. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Robert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Robert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Aldous was born with his father's beautiful face. A freak accident while working with his Tanner father left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
