Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ploughman business.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he desires power and/or immortality

Ideals: Disciplined. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Poor, Military, Adventurer, Has a crush. Occupation: Marshal

Description: He has a missing right arm. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. He has shaved his head bald. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born in a small desert village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and expand his business

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his halberd with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 17. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Richard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This northern man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Gerald was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and regain custody of his son
