Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilbert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spice Merchant.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Conrad was born the youngest of three triplets. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: He is in excellent shape and is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Carpenter. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Solomon was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He struck the Carpenter job and began his own company from there.
