When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Adelard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed.
