History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Laborer mother left him crippled. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
