Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Patrick lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Knight and was forced into it by his family; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Gerard was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Guard. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
