However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gunter has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and many goblins want him driven away
