History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has achieved small success as a Cartwright.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he desires power and/or immortality

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
