History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Bertram will drive conversation. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Bertram was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Description: An older man who has a large yellow mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe, he is not a threatening figure. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he wants revenge against goblins
