History: He was born in the north. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. John took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Gunter was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Jeweler. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Jeweler for the past few years.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.
