When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Frederick's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
