History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Scribe who has hired him part-time. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
