Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He's also a talented Interpreter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is dressed in a clean white cloak covering his clean studded leather. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has achieved small success as a Crown-heir.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a flail on his belt, and carries flails. His auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Dean is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Dean was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dean fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he's in love

Voice: Speaks fast with a slight lisp

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a worn and beaten armor. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Being a Unemployed kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
