History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Richard has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Charles was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands.
