History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Knight. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Brewer mother left him crippled. He's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears baggy tan pantaloons and a violet scarf, and is pretty ugly. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Theobald took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up crossbow and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to get a good night's sleep
