History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
