History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shane grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
