History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Guy was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Guy's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
