History: Cory was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A true patriot, John would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Peter speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Adelard was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Dyer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears an entirely black suit with green socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are a pleasant blue.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Charles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and money/treasure
