History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mercenary, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
