His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Gilbert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
