Bernard Clifton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears an entirely black suit with pastel socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He wears his golden hair up. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: He was raised by priests from a young age. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
Ideals: Entrepeneur. Flaws: Insane, Antagonistic. Bonds: Religious, Mentor. Occupation: Bookbinder

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has gray eyes and a yellow hat with a pastel feather.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
