Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
