History: Reynard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Bellfounder.

History: Bernard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
