History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a tea of some kind. He wears pastel leather gloves, a pastel jacket, and tight pants, marred by teas. His blonde hair is thinning but still full. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Bernard speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Cartwright. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

His blonde hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Revenge; and he wants revenge against illithids
