Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Dean never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shipwright.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Painter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Painter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
