History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Norman was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gerard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
