The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He now mingles about in high society.
