History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of a Shoemaker, who enjoyed hunting, Balimaar was taken on many hunting expeditions. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.
