History: Gerard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
