History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Through the years after Miles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Miles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Miles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student he started as a Soapmaker, but he got bored and became a Assassin. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Assassin.

Motivation: To be a Soapmaker again.

He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
