Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Bernard began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Simon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Tim was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
