History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Gerard was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Weaver. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
